Summary
Media Planner
We are looking for a Media Planner to join our growing Media team! This person will oversee the day-to-day media planning, buying, and execution of client programs, working across a mix of brand and performance channels across digital and traditional media. They will maintain positive relationships with clients and our Creative, Strategy, and Technology teams. They will work in close partnership with our analytics and strategic planning teams to develop the programs that drive business outcomes for our clients.
Requirements/Skills:
A minimum of 1 year of related digital media experience across the following channels: display, social, OLV, and programmatic
E-commerce and/or retail media planning experience is a plus
Outdoor/Print planning is a plus
Experience working within an integrated media team across digital and traditional media
Ability to execute high-impact marketing campaigns that exceed client KPI’s
Familiarity with both brand and performance media
Able to consistently produce results while meeting deadlines and juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
BA/BS in marketing communications or related field
Knowledge and expertise of ad serving and tracking platforms such as Google Campaign Manager and MOAT
Knowledge of comScore, Kantar, and MRI Simmons as well as other media planning and competitive tools a plus
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and MS Office, with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills a plus
Responsibilities :
Oversee day-to-day client planning teams to develop media strategy and plans against client objectives
Instill process and make sure checks and balances are in place for flawless media execution
Oversee development of RFPs and selection of media partners for media plans
Partner with our Media and Analytics team to develop optimal media mix and measurement strategy
Manage the RFP and media partner negotiation processes with support from extended team
Coordinate the creation, and presentation of the media strategy and media plan to client
Work with internal programmatic team on best programmatic solutions
Oversee processes for campaign launch, reporting, optimization and reconciliation and ensure that campaigns are QA’d and running properly
Work with our Account Team to create agendas for client and partner status calls, meetings
Maintain communication with internal and external creative and technology teams throughout creative production process
Maintain communication with media partners and client executional teams to produce custom programs and manage pre/post campaign studies
Conduct ongoing assessments of campaign performance to determine optimization recommendations and boost campaign performance
Ensure final reconciliation of all campaign activity including under delivery reconciliation, make goods, etc.

Position Summary
The Planner Media -AMP is responsible for informing media strategy and leading day-to-day execution across digital and traditional channels with a focus on direct digital partnerships, programmatic media buying and paid social, while mentoring junior members of the media team to consistently and successfully deliver on client objectives. This position manages day-to-day relationships with clients and external partners, and will ensure accurate record keeping on all accounts. The incumbent must possess a solid knowledge of the client’s business and actively bring new ideas and recommendations to the team for the client’s campaigns. This position requires that the candidate be a self-starter, extremely organized, detail oriented, highly motivated and possess the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities, while managing client expectations, timelines and coordination between various resources.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Actively contribute ideas and original thinking to all client media programs.
Develop RFPs that lead publishers in devising innovative approaches to meeting campaign objectives and delivering value.
Partner with Analytics team to predict performance and inform key decisions about the necessary media mix.
Create, produce and present media strategies and media plans to the client.
Develop IOs, specs, buy authorizations and financial tracking documents.
Approve timelines and handle project management.
Collaborate with additional internal and vendor partners including UX, Creative and Web Development as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study/Area of Experience:
3-5 years of experience in Media at an agency
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Previous success in the planning, development and management of digital media campaigns for brands or products
Experience with DoubleClick and other 3rd party tracking solutions preferred
Experience with the following technology platforms a plus (Self-Serve Programmatic DSPs, DFA, Facebook UI/FBX)
Ability to analyze data and deeply understanding of measurement practices, 3rd party measurement companies and web analytics
Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously
Proven client service orientation with strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation skills
Ability to consistently perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment as an individual on a team
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated interest in keeping up with emerging technologies and digital marketing trends

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
