Human Resources Analyst - Remote

The Analyst Human Resources is responsible for providing the HR team with accurate reporting, metrics, analysis, and insight. This position requires strong interpersonal skills to assist the existing Centers of Excellence (COE) and leadership team in providing meaningful data and analysis of costs and benefits of employee-facing decisions to optimize processes and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and inform to support key HR team, as well as the larger organization

  • Develop reports for distribution that highlight and identify trends, risks, or areas for focus, and provide regular updates on the measurement of these trends

  • Assist in the development of HR-specific capabilities for existing processes, like the merit / bonus, turnover, and cost of initiatives

  • Works with the COE in providing real-time and meaningful data to assist in companywide initiatives individualized to each business unit

  • Leverages the ability to work with various company systems and integrate data to cohesive reporting while maintaining data confidentiality and company privacy policies

Qualifications:

  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA and advanced Excel functions. Preferred: Microsoft Office Specialist certification in Excel

  • 2-4 years of experience in either MS Power BI and DAX or SSRS tool, SQL coding and/or MS Access Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work directly with executive leadership and among different teams to achieve a shared goal

  • Solid working knowledge of relational database design and development

  • Bachelors Degree or equivelent experience preferred

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience: BA/BS degree in business or a related field from an accredited college/university

3-5 years or more of previous experience working in a analytics environment, preferably in HR, benefits, or finance team

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office or home office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
