Senior Director HRIS

Position Summary
The HRIS Senior Director will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining specialized and internal HR systems, services, and applications tailored to the unique needs of our organization. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management:
Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the HRIS department.
Provide guidance and oversee the daily workflow of the department.
Conduct constructive and timely performance evaluations for team members.
System Management:
Collaborate with the IT department to facilitate the migration to a unified HRIS.
Oversee and maintain the optimal function of our internal HR information services systems, including database management, network support, installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications and systems.
Manage internal database files, tables, codes, backup files, integrity, and security.
Install, implement, modify, and upgrade software and applications to align with changing business and technology needs.
Technical Support and Collaboration:
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR employees.
Collaborate with executive leadership and HR staff to identify necessary improvements and enhancements to existing information services and databases, and recommend and implement solutions.
Manage permissions, access, personalization, and system settings for HR services users.
Data Management and Reporting:
Program custom functions and documentation, such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
Compile or assist with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested by senior executives and HR staff.
Act as the lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR database design and implementation projects.
Compliance and Security:
Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
Stay updated on trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications.
Procurement:
Oversee the procurement of appropriate hardware and software to ensure the organization has high-quality, efficient systems.
Supervisory Responsibilities

- Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
Indirect Reports
- This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level:Bachelor's Degree Information Technology or Human Resources Management
Field of Study/Area of Experience:Information Technology or Human Resources Management
10+ years HRIS management or related experience required, with at 3 years in a supervisory position.
SHRM-CP /SHRM-SCP preferred or HRCI PHR/SPHR
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Thorough understanding of database construction.
Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the abilty to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
